Father Ryan was raised in West Warwick, RI. He graduated from West Warwick High School in 2007 at which time he entered the Seminary of Our Lady of Providence and Providence College. After graduating from P.C. in 2011, he was assigned to study theology at Saint John Seminary in Brighton, MA. Bishop Thomas Tobin ordained him to the priesthood on June 27, 2015.

He was the Assistant Pastor at Saint Philip Church in Greenville, RI from 2015-2019, the Pastor of Saint Joseph Church in Woonsocket from 2019-2024, and the Chaplain at Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket from 2019-2024. 

Father was appointed the Chaplain at U.R.I. beginning on July 1, 2024. He also serves as the Chaplain at the Prout School and the Vocation Director for the Diocese of Providence.

His favorite color is blue and his favorite food is Chipotle.
